Inspired to show a working literally through a voodoo doll. The type of working it relates to is; when a person first meets or sees someone and they have feelings for, and they get a sense of nervousness and attraction for that person. In which a certain expression is said to "have butterflies in the stomach".

This is a boy doll who has a glass jar in his stomach full imperfect real dead butterflies in his belly. With the words in parchment paper glued onto the jar saying, " May he have butterflies in his stomach as he thinks of me". Doll is made with branches, twists and curled up vines, moss, antique pins, rope ties, a hand painted head - crafted and designed. Doll stands on its own. A curios voodoo doll for that certain practitioner doll collector.

Approximately 11 1/2" inches in height by 7 1/2" inches in width.

No insects were harmed upon making. Butterflies died of natural causes.
